Communications Director - $30k

Does leadership in a faith-based organization excite you? A large congregation is seeking a communications professional to coordinate external and internal communications for all of its departments.

Responsibilities:

• Effective use of broadcast, print, direct mail, internet as well as informal channels of communications. Will coordinate with technical production coordinator.
• Serve as the primary interface with news media and mass communications vendors
• Direct public relations efforts and provide counsel to professional staff regarding public relations communications
• Build advisory committee of creative marketing professionals
• Oversee and manage websites

Qualifications:

• College degree or commensurate experience in a business environment required
• One or more years of professional communications experience desired
• Leadership ability and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with church staff, volunteers, church members and the general public
• Well organized and detail oriented

Benefits package. Starting salary at $30k.
