2008 State Withholding Reminder

Effective January 1, 2008, LB223 mandates businesses with 25 or more employees to withhold 3% of gross wages paid (less qualified deductions) for state income tax purposes.

Creighton:
A Slide Into "Home"

One year later..

Mavis Hall is thrilled Jamie walked through the door.

"We needed a temporary
employee who could slide into a new environment and on day one pick EVERYTHING up quickly," said Hall, Assistant Director of the Office of
Research in the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.

Jamie Barbee did exactly that last November, when Integrity Staffing sent her to fill a newly vacated senior administrative assistant spot. Hall said, "Jamie immediately fit into the rhythm of our office. Her technical skills are really, really good. She has a sense of how to get the job done along with a great sense of service."

Barbee realized she had taken a slide into "home" base when the Office of Research hired her three weeks later through Integrity's Temporary-to-Hire program.

Business Ethics - Front & Center Stage

Visionary leaders are committed to positioning Greater Omaha as a nationally recognized leader in business ethics excellence and corporate citizenship. The Greater Omaha Alliance for Business Ethics was formed in 2006 to promote and enhance business ethics in our community. Robert Bates, former CEO of Jefferson Pilot Financial, is Chair of the Board of Trustees.

The Alliance hosted more than 100 persons in September at a candid dialogue of business ethics and employee health benefits with leaders in the insurance industry. The event, which received top ratings from participants and attendees, was planned by a committee chaired by Integrity Staffing Manager Julie Muessel.
