Online recruiting has increased 5-fold in the last five years.
Today it produces 56 percent of job candidates, according to the 2007 Online Recruiting Survey by the Society for Human Resource Management.
In spite of the increase in online recruiting, hiring authorities consistently tell us the best way to recruit top talent is via referrals from employees, professional affiliations and professional staffing companies. |

A Great Match It was a testament to the power of networking.
Dorsey Olson, then
president of Downtown Rotary, announced at a meeting that Neon Products Co. urgently needed a skilled office administrator who excelled at customer service
and had experience in billing and accounts payable.
Integrity Staffing owner Ann Kelleher was at that meeting, and within a week, Integrity’s Cindy Mitchell began work.

"Hiring the Right Person" Aug. 21 for members affiliated with the Millard Business Association.
Approximately 30 business professionals attended.
Among questions the employer might ask of the applicant: Should I hire you for this position, is there any reason why you cannot report for work every day and on time?
